Newly Appointed Trinidad Municipal Judge Resigns
The City of Trinidad has experienced another significant change in leadership following the resignation of newly appointed Municipal Judge Susan Carver.
According to statements made by Trinidad City Council Member Steven Strearman, Judge Carver was sworn into office by City Administrator Cynthia Dosier without the knowledge or approval of the mayor or city council. Questions surrounding that appointment have become part of the broader public discussion regarding how city business has been conducted in recent months.
Judge Carver also serves as City Secretary and Municipal Judge for the City of Brownsboro, making her appointment in Trinidad the subject of additional public scrutiny. She has now resigned from her position as Trinidad's municipal judge.
